About The Moorish Muse
The Moorish Muse is a modern sanctuary for sensory living.
We take the materials, beauty traditions, craftsmanship, and ingredients we grew up around in Morocco and present them in a way that feels relevant to how we live today.
Not as souvenirs. Not as “Moroccan rituals.” Not as exotic décor.
We are interested in the actual things: argan oil, rose water, ghassoul, nila, saffron, Thuya wood, ceramics, textiles. The smell, texture, color, weight, and feeling of them.
For us, Morocco has always been sensory.
It is the smell of orange blossom and mint. Oil on the skin. Clay mixed with water. Wood being carved. Tea poured into a glass. Objects made by hand and used every day without needing to be called special.
The Moorish Muse takes that world and gives it a contemporary context.
We are not trying to recreate the past or package Morocco into an aesthetic. We want to preserve what is meaningful about the materials, the craft, and the knowledge behind them while creating something that belongs in modern life.
Because life moves fast now.
And sometimes presence is as simple as taking a few extra minutes in the shower, feeling the texture of something made by hand, or noticing the scent of an ingredient you are putting on your skin.
That is what The Moorish Muse is about.
Morocco, experienced through your senses.
